Pure and simple design the new vases are made of glass blown by mouth. The vases consist of two layers of glass - an internal layer of clear glass, and an external layer of opal white glass. In order to achieve the unique satin white finish the vase is sandblasted. The elegant lines and the satin white finish add a pure and simple touch to the vase - a perfect environment for creative or traditional flower bouquets and decorative twigs. The innovative and sculptural design makes the vase suitable as a decorative element even without flowers.
"Floating and expressive -When I was designing the vase, I was observing the light and nature surrounding me in order to discover the most sculptural and beautiful form. I wanted to create a vase with a light design and the ability to rest in itself. Therefore, I created a vase, which gives you the impression that it is floating on the table, a vase with a decorative and sculptural expression," Lin Utzon says.
