Together, Rosendahl and designer Lin Utzon have given new substance to the perception of confetti. All but forgotten is the time when confetti referred only to tiny pieces of paper. Particularly pertinent are the absolutely lovely shapes and colors that have turned Lin Utzon’s hand-blown glass bowls, vases and votive in the Confetti range into collector's items.
“You have to co-operate with nature and not try to bring it to heel or dominate it. This is true even if you have to start with the mild form of violence that can be inherent in taking nature out of its genuine surroundings and ringing it indoors.” This is the working philosophy behind Lin Utzon’s new colors and color blends.
