The BestLite Collection was designed by Robert Dudley Best (1892-1984) who studied at the Dusseldorf School of Industrial Design and the Interior Design Atelier in Paris. It was designed with influence from the Bauhaus and the 1925 International Exhibition og Modern & Industrial Arts in Paris. Its styling has gone on to become a design classic eith an example in the Design Museum in London and has been in continuous production since 1930.
