The name Simplicity refers to the simple and aesthetic mode of expression found in
the series of glassware. The sculptural components are created in transparent smoke
and lilac glass, which underline the aesthetic appearance of the products. While the
simple and voluminous proportions add a touch of understated elegance to the pieces.
With its simple, soft and classic shapes, Simplicity has an air of 1950’s design and of
Holmegaard’s proud glass traditions, while at the same time, emphasizing the fact
that the glassworks remains a design leader. |
