Monica Ritterband was born in 1955 and is well known as, among other things, an artist who produces unique, one of a kind pieces-ranging from her miniature glass mosaics to her enormous, elegant steel sculptures, which adorn public squares, parks and shopping centres. She has been voted Artist of the Year on four occasions in different contexts.
